Project vs. workspace — the difference
Workspace is the top-level working environment associated with your organization or account. It can contain multiple projects and is shared by all team members who have been granted access.
Project is a dedicated unit of work within the workspace — it groups campaigns, products, tasks, and settings related to a single client or a single market. Each project has its own team, roles, labels, and configuration.
Typical setup: one workspace for an agency → a separate project for each client or market (e.g., Poland, Germany).
How to create a project in Sembot
Each project corresponds to one client or one market — this is the fundamental principle of work organization in Sembot.
To create a new project:
- Go to the Your projects tab
- Click Create project
- Enter the project name
- Enter the domain associated with the project
- Select the project currency
- Select the project language
- Confirm to finish creating the project
General project settings
To access project settings, select the project name in the top navigation bar.
Project name Displayed in navigation and reports. Changing the name does not affect data — all campaigns, products, and tasks remain assigned to the project.
Deleting a project
A project is deleted using the trash icon available in the Your projects tab. The operation is irreversible — it deletes the project along with all its data (campaigns, products, tasks, reports).
Before deleting, make sure you want to permanently remove all project data.
