When to Create a Per-Project Override
If you manage multiple projects (e.g., several stores for different clients), you may want different settings for each one.
How to Add an Override for a Project
- In the Custom Notifications section, click Add Custom Notification
- Search for the project by name
- Select the notification types for which you want to change settings
- Confirm — a settings view for that project will open
- Configure channels as needed
Settings Hierarchy
Settings are applied from most specific to least specific:
Project settings → Workspace settings → Account settings → Default (enabled)Project settings always take precedence. If you have email notifications enabled for feed errors on Project A, but have disabled them globally — Project A will still receive the email.
Example Use Case
An agency manages 20 projects. For a VIP client, it sets up email alerts for all notification types. For the remaining projects, it leaves only in-app notifications enabled. One view, different rules for different clients.
