Event Types That Generate Notifications ​

Notifications in Sembot are organized into categories:

Feeds — events related to errors and anomalies in product feeds: input and output feed errors, missing required fields, product count drops.

Projects — notification when a user is assigned to a project.

Tasks — covers four task types: user tasks, Marketer AI tasks, summary tasks, and workflow tasks. The same events are tracked for each type: task creation, update, deletion, and completion, comment added, mention in a comment, user and collaborator assignment, and a daily report with task due dates.

System Tasks — notifications about system-generated events: system task updates, high-priority task detection, daily task detection, task template import completion.

Notification Delivery Channels ​

Sembot supports two notification channels:

In-app — notifications visible directly within the application, as toast notifications (appearing briefly on screen) and in the notification center accessible from the navigation bar.

Email — notifications sent to the email address associated with the user's account.

Both channels operate independently — each event can be configured separately for each channel.

Per-User and Per-Project Configuration ​

Notification settings are available under Notification Settings in the user panel. The view displays a grid of events and channels (in-app / email) — each combination can be enabled or disabled independently.

Sembot supports a three-level settings hierarchy:

  1. Global — the user's default preferences, applied everywhere
  2. Per workspace — overrides global settings for a specific workspace
  3. Per project — overrides workspace settings for a specific project

This makes it possible, for example, to disable email notifications for all projects except one critical project, without changing global settings.

Muting Notifications ​

Notifications can be muted in Workspace Settings → Notifications. The mute option allows you to temporarily or permanently disable selected notifications without having to adjust the detailed per-event configuration.
