Views and Filtering

Table of Contents

List View vs. Board View (Kanban)

The Tasks tab offers four ways to display tasks, switched using the view tabs:

List — classic tabular view. Tasks are displayed as rows with columns (title, status, priority, due date, assignee, etc.). Enables quick browsing and sorting of large numbers of tasks. Columns are configurable — individual fields can be shown or hidden.

Board (Kanban) — column-based view. Tasks are represented as cards grouped into columns. Two grouping modes are available:

  • By status — each status creates a separate column. A total of 6 columns corresponding to all statuses.
  • By section — columns correspond to custom sections defined in the project by the user.

Tasks can be dragged between columns, which automatically changes the status or section.

Timeline — Gantt-like view presenting tasks on a timeline. Available scales: days, weeks, months. Allows visual management of deadlines and task overlaps over time.

To-Do — simplified checklist view, available exclusively in the My Tasks section. Used for quickly checking off tasks.

The most recently used view is remembered separately for each context (My Tasks, All Tasks, Project Tasks).

Filtering

Tasks can be filtered by the following fields:

FieldAvailable Operators
Titlecontains, equals, starts with, is empty, and others
Statusis one of, is not one of
Priorityis one of, is not one of
Due Dateequals, before, after, before or equal, after or equal
Labelscontains, is empty
Authoris one of, is empty
Descriptioncontains, is empty
Commentscontains
Creation Dateequals, before, after
Task Typeis one of

In the All Tasks and My Tasks views, additional filters are available: assignee and project.

Filters can be combined — multiple conditions work simultaneously as a conjunction (AND).

Grouping and Sorting

Sorting is available by many fields, including: title, status, priority, due date, creation date, completion date, assignee name, manual order.

Grouping in the board view is described above (statuses or sections). In the timeline view, a breakdown by days, weeks, or months is available.

Saving Custom Views and Filters

A configured set of filters, sorting, and visible columns can be saved as a view for later use. Views can have two scopes:

  • Private — visible only to the user who created it
  • Workspace — visible to all users in the workspace

A saved view can be marked as default — it opens automatically when entering the tab. View management (creating, editing, deleting) is available from the filter panel.
