Linking a task to a campaign, product, or project
Tasks can be linked to other Sembot resources — campaigns, products, keywords, domains, or project connections. The link is displayed on the task card as contextual information (e.g., the campaign or product name), making it easy to identify which resource a given task relates to.
These links are typically set automatically by the system at the time the task is created — they are not a field in the manual task creation form.
Tasks created automatically by a workflow
Workflows (automations) can create tasks as a result of their execution. The workflow node responsible for creating a task can specify the properties of the new task: title, priority, assignee, and other fields. A task created this way is linked to the specific workflow run, allowing its origin to be traced.
Tasks generated by a workflow appear in the standard task list view — they look the same as manually created tasks, although their card may include information about the automation source.
Tasks created by alerts (e.g., from monitoring)
Sembot can automatically create tasks in response to monitoring events — for example, a campaign exceeding a threshold, errors detected in a product feed, or a change in product status. This mechanism is based on Task Triggers: each trigger defines a condition and the properties of the task to be created when that condition is met.
A task created by an alert includes contextual information on its card indicating the resource that triggered its creation (e.g., campaign name, product ID).
